Isolation can be…well isolating. I know that is kinda obvious but it does not need to be. We have some tips that will really help with your brain and isolation.
Connect with people and make sure you get as much sunlight, fresh air and keep as active as you can. Yup this probably sounds like the complete opposite of isolation but it isn’t. Isolation doesn’t mean losing touch with people. Thanks to technology we can video call people which means that we still get to see and spend time with people. Also, isolation doesn’t mean do not go outside, it means to stay away from people! You can still get in the car and drive to the middle of nowhere and have a walk through the county-side. That is going to be really important.
If you’ve been asked to stay at home and avoid other people, it might feel more difficult than usual to take care of your mental health and wellbeing. Make sure that you really utilise things such as video calling to make sure that you keep having human interaction!
