We have an amazing group of two Medical Students and two recently graduated Medical Students who are now Drs who put together fantastic YouTube videos for My Discombobulated Brain:
Catrin Comeau has recently graduated from Medical Student at Cardiff University and is now a Dr based in Belfast. I also met her at the Winter Medical School in January 2016. At the end of the session, Catrin asked me for my contact details as she wanted to get involved. A few days later, Catrin emailed me with some wonderful ideas and is a real driving force behind the YouTube Channel.
Munzir Quraishy is a third year Medical Student at Cardiff University who runs his own production company. I was introduced to him through the National Centre of Mental Health to help him with his third year project. A few days later, I emailed Munzir about My Discombobulated Brain and asked if he could help with the filming of the YouTube videos. He wonderfully said yes.
Emeka Ezeigwe has recently graduated from Medical Student at Cardiff University and is now a Dr based in Abergavenny who I met at the Winter Medical School in January 2016. I was asked by Dr Mat Hoskins if I would speak on my experiences with stigma and mental health and I also talked about starting My Discombobulated Brain. At the end of the day, Emeka and I got talking and he later contacted me to get involved!
Tilly Ellis is a third year medical student, doing an intercalated degree in Psychology next year.We met through the film/project that I did with Munzir and NCMH. She came to my home to film me and the kids for the project and by the time she had left was signed up to help with YouTube!
